Leica is a famous lens industry today, and now its company supports many flagship phones manufacturer to produce high quality smartphone camera. As we know, if OnePlus has Leica for its smartphone camera lens, and now Sharp’s next flagship might also bear Leica’s name, though perhaps in an odd way.
Actually we know if Sharp is the new comer in smartphone market, but we should understand how serious this company to join in global market. Aquos R6 itself will apply Leica for its camera, and Sharp will make this feature as a selling point to global market.
We have information from tipster Nokishita on his Twitter if Aquos R6 adopts a punch-hole cutout after sticking so long with notches. Although, this flagship has curved screen, it will give a bezel-less design to improve elegance.
Aquos R6 will have only two cameras, but it’s large sensor and seems like a regular camera lens. We have information if this camera lens has co-engineered with Leica.
This admittedly creates for an intriguing camera setting, one that flies in the face of new smartphone conventions with at least three cameras. However, whether that performs just as well as those, however, will be the real test of that formula, and Leica apparently won’t lend its name to something that serves worse than more affordable mid-range phones.
