This holiday, Microsoft now offers Xbox Cloud Gaming (xCloud) service to Xbox One and Xbox Series S / X consoles. Although this feature allows users to play games by its streaming service immediately, it will be more efficient before users download the game.
The Xbox Cloud Gaming offers more than 100 Xbox Game Pass titles, and users can try games first before they have to download fully. This feature allows users to create multiplayer games as soon as friends send an invite, avoiding waiting for the install to complete.
Microsoft will update its console to include a cloud icon to show which games can be instantly streamed. However, Xbox Cloud Gaming supports up to 1080p and 60fps, so it won’t replace those with 4K TVs just yet.
Xbox Cloud Gaming is arriving on Xbox One, but it doesn’t mean if Xbox Series S / X exclusive games like Microsoft Flight Simulator and The Medium will also be available on older Xbox One consoles soon. Microsoft hasn’t announced a date for Microsoft Flight Simulator on xCloud will be available.
Microsoft will make xCloud integration will be available for Xbox Insiders as well, and this company plans to announce testing details soon.
