Samsung is now rolling out the new One UI 4.1 update to the carrier-locked models of the Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy Note 10+ in the US. This latest update brings many new features and improves the security of the two smartphones. Also, this latest update was released in Europe last week.
The software update comes to the Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy Note 10+ with firmware version N97xUSQU7HVC6. The March 2022 security patch brings over 50 privacy and security vulnerabilities. There’s an ability to turn off GOS (Game Optimization Service).

The One UI 4.1 and Android 12 update comes with some new features, including adding portrait effects to any image with a person in view when you’re using the built-in Gallery app. You also can convert select images into 24-hour time-lapse videos and the ability to share multiple pictures and videos with others using a single link. The other feature allows you to convert motion photos to still images to save storage space.
AR Zone offers a feature to add GIFs from Tenor to your AR Emoji. You can change the background color in mask mode. The Smart Widgets also allows you to group multiple widgets to save space on the home screen. Meanwhile, the new Google Duo Live Sharing will enable you to share the screen with others and watch content together. The device can show better health metrics, better sleep training, and tips to reach your fitness goals when you use Samsung Health.
Quick Share allows you to share Wi-Fi network credentials with others. You can share images and videos, complete with edit history so that the receiver will receive the original file and edited files. Smart Switch brings more customization when users transfer data from old devices to new devices. The latest SmartThings Find you to share items with others to find those lost things together.
Samsung also enhances the Color Palette feature, and the latest One UI 4.1 comes with other features, including the ability to add emojis to calendar entries, write better with the Grammarly-powered Samsung Keyboard, and take notes quickly from Samsung Internet and Samsung Gallery in Samsung Notes.
The Gallery app has the ability to remove shadows and reflections from images. This One UI 4.1 lets you adjust the sound balance of any audio output device. Users can adapt virtual RAM capacity as per their preferences.
