According to journalist Mark Gurman, Apple will launch the new 14″ and 16″ MacBook Pros with M2 Pro and M2 Max processors. As the same source says, these devices will be launched this fall.
The new M2 Pro and M2 Max processors will be powered by the next Macbook to get more performance. According to Gurman, the M2 Pro and M2 Max will provide advanced graphics technology. The M2 in the 13-inch MacBook Pro and new MacBook Air can perform 11% better single-core performance, close to 20% better multi-core results, and as much as 35% better graphics scores, especially when you go for the 10-core GPU version.
Gurman said there are not many changes with the MacBook Pro hardware. The current 14-inch and 16-inch Pros brought major upgrades, including a new design, mini-LED displays, and MagSafe charging.
The MacBook Pro 14 and 16 could be forced to delay their launch until Spring 2023 due to chip shortages.
