YouTube Offers a Feature to Help Creators Sell Merch to Fans

YouTube is now launching a new feature that will help creators to sell merch on their channels. This feature is collaborated with Shopify stores, making it easier to snag merch. This feature is limited to US creators at this time. For example, you can purchase a hoodie or yoga mat; you can order it moments after you see it.

YouTube needs creators who have at least 10,000 subscribers (or an official artist channel), monetization, a focus on non-child content, and a largely spotless policy violation record.

The company hopes that the seamless experience will encourage you to shop through video pages. The larger market and audience will make, they can share a storefront and boost their bottom line. This feature will fend off competition from Instagram and others that already help you shop through social media posts.
