Qualcomm launched the new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 flagship chipset focusing on performance-oriented devices. Xiaomi introduced the 12S series, and it’s also about to give us a Redmi phone with the new top chip.
According to the brand chief, William Lu said, on Weibo, a new Redmi K50 flagship will use the latest flagship chipset and will be coming soon to the global market.
Lu shared an image that shows if the next Xiaomi model will have 33% better energy efficiency than the Plus’ CPU and 30% of the GPU. Xiaomi is expected to release the Redmi K50 Ultra model, as well.
Some reports suggest the name will be Redmi K50S, akin to the Xiaomi 12S series. However, in the past, S has denoted a special member of the Redmi lineups rather than an update.
