Samsung is preparing the new mid-range smartphone for the global market; they are the Galaxy A04 and A04s. It’s an M-branded alternative to the A04, and it appears to be powered by a MediaTek chipset.
The Geekbench shows if this smartphone has a model number SM-M045F. This smartphone runs on Android 12, and a 3GB RAM, and the company is expected to launch some RAM options.
The online benchmark shows that the Galaxy M04 is powered by a MediaTek processor, the “MT6765V/WB,” also known as the Helio G35. The chipset uses eight ARM Cortex-A53 cores clocked at up to 2.3GHz.
Samsung will introduce this smartphone for Unpacked 2022, and all its marketing power right now is behind the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4.
As for the benchmark results, this mid-range smartphone has 861 Geekbench points in single-core tests and 4,233 points in multi-core. As may you know, the result isn’t always accurate. The Helio G35 itself is a 12nm low-cost chip and won’t break any records.
We’re not sure whether the Galaxy M04 will have a depth camera, but Samsung is reportedly considering removing this type of sensor from future mid-range phones planned for 2023.
