Samsung is now developing a new One UI updates. The company just launched the official One UI 5.0 beta forum on its Community website, which could mean that the beta program will be open to the public soon.
Samsung will gather some user experience of this One UI 5 users through the usual communications channels, including the Members app and the Community forums. Samsung announced the “One UI Beta Program” portion of its Community website. There are no comments for now because the company hasn’t opened the One UI 5 beta testing access, but the forum will get populated with questions and feedback once the beta program goes live.
The previous report says the Galaxy S22 series could enter the first One UI 5.0 public beta phase in the third week of July. One UI 5.0 is based on Android 13, and Samsung will feature its proprietary One UI skin.
We’ll keep you posted as soon as we find out more, but keep in mind that the beta program will have a limited reach. As usual, it will go live in select markets, albeit European customers might have an easier time with the beta program in 2022, thanks to Samsung’s decision to unbind European devices from Country Specific Codes (CSC). Time will tell.
