Previously, Samsung introduced the Bora Purple version of the Galaxy S22. However, the company hasn’t announced which country will receive this colour model. Today, Samsung has announced that it will be available in Europe, South Korea, and the US.
The Bora Purple version of the Galaxy S22 will go on sale in South Korea starting August 10, 2022, and this flagship will cost KRW 999,900 (around $765), similar to other colour variants of the smartphone. You can buy this product through Samsung’s website, Samsung Digital Plaza, and various online and offline stores across the country. In addition, there are some colours that you can choose from, including Green, Phantom Black, Phantom White, and Pink Gold.
Samsung has a special place for purple colour, and the company has used this colour for high-end phones in this colourway since 2017. As you remember, the Galaxy S9 was available in Lilac Purple, while the Galaxy Z Flip had a Mirror Purple version. The Galaxy S21+ had a Phantom Violet version, while the Galaxy Z Flip 3 could be purchased in Lavendar.
There are no changes in the Galaxy S22 specifications; the smartphone still uses a 6.1-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The camera system uses a 10MP selfie camera, a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The smartphone can capture 4K 60fps videos using all its cameras. It features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, 8GB RAM, and 128GB/256GB storage.
While the connectivity uses a 5G, GPS, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB Type-C port, stereo speakers, IP68 rating, and fast wireless charging, the Samsung Galaxy S22 has a 3,700mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging and reverse wireless charging. Also, other technology, like Samsung Pay, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader, and a Wireless DeX added to this phone.
