Samsung plans to launch the upcoming Galaxy Watch 5 series shortly. However, the pricing details are unknown, but Samsung should unveil the next-gen smartwatches on August 10, and at least one retailer appears to have already listed the wearables online. Some report says this new wearable device will hit the market at a lower launch price than the Galaxy Watch 4.
According to the online listing (via DealInTech), the 40mm Galaxy Watch 5 with Bluetooth connectivity costs €259.98. Meanwhile, the Bluetooth-only 44mm model will cost €286.90.
As may you know, the smallest version of the Galaxy Watch 4 was released in Europe for €269, while the 44mm model was announced for €299. If the information is accurate, the Galaxy Watch 5 might be around ~€10 cheaper at launch than its predecessor. When we can see the pricing details from online retailer’s listing, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro has a €430.89 price tag.
The 46mm Galaxy Watch 4 Classic launched at €399. Maybe the lack of a physical rotating bezel will allow Samsung to drop the price of the Pro model by a considerable amount. The online retailer price isn’t always accurate but can paint a general picture of what to expect.
Although the price amount isn’t significant, the upcoming Samsung watch has more features. The company will unveil more features at Unpacked on August 10 alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4.
