Samsung is now rolling out the July 2022 security update for Galaxy A33 5G. However, the company released the July patch in Asia a couple of weeks ago. Today, the company released the same Galaxy A33 5G update in Europe (SM-A336B).
The latest update comes with firmware version A336BXXU2AVG2; if you understand the Samsung firmware numbers, this update doesn’t bring only minor updates. This new update brings changes and improvements extending beyond security into One UI. Unfortunately, Samsung hasn’t announced the official changelog.
This update is rolling out for the Europe market, including Slovenia, Portugal, Poland, the UK, Italy, the Czech Republic, Serbia, Croatia, Ireland, Switzerland, Austria, and France. Samsung claims this July 2022 security patch fixes 41 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposure items.
Suppose you’re a Galaxy A33 5G user and live in the countries mentioned above. In that case, you might receive the update notification, or you can check it manually through the Settings app on your phone, tapping “Software update,” then “Download and install.”
