Samsung has launched a new security update to even lower mid-range smartphones. The Galaxy A23 is now receiving the August 2022 security update in Russia. Samsung will roll out the update to more countries pretty soon.
The latest update for the Galaxy A23 comes with firmware version A235FXXU1AVG2. This update features the stability of the cameras, privacy, security, and stability of the whole smartphone. According to the update changelog, the August 2022 security patch fixes dozens of security vulnerabilities, including the ones related to DeX, MAC address leaks, and more.
If you’re a Galaxy A23 user in Russia, you might receive the update notification and install the new update through Settings ยป Software update and tap on Download and install.
Samsung Galaxy A23 was released in March 2022 with Android 12-based One UI 4.1 onboard. The company promises two major Android OS updates in at least three years of security updates. Samsung will release the August 2022 security patch to more devices before the end of this month.
