This year, Samsung will launch a new product for its smartwatch category. The company will launch the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro model and ditch the ‘Classic’ version of the watch. So, there will be two models, a Galaxy Watch 5 and a Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. Some sources unveiled most details of these products’ design and specifications.
According to leaks, SnoopyTech shows the Galaxy Watch 5 promo images, including the Galaxy Watch 5, the base version of the two, on a charging dock and other features that show the sleep tracking feature.
However, the promo images don’t tell many details about the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. This new smartwatch has a chunky 572mAh battery.
The Galaxy Watch 5 will come in two sizes, 40mm and 44mm. While the Pro version only has a 45mm size. Both models run on Wear OS 3.5 version with the latest One UI Watch interface. The smartwatch has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, a built-in mic and speaker, accelerometer, ECG, blood composition sensor, barometer, gyro, GPS, and NFC.
The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro will come in two colors, Black and Graphite. While Galaxy Watch 5 would have more color options, including Bora Purple, Graphite, Grey, Light Blue, Pink Gold, and White. We’re just a few days away from the official introduction; as we know, Samsung will unveil new products during the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event on August 10.
