WhatsApp developer is now working on blocking screenshots during View Once messages. This new feature is a goal for the company to be concerned about users’ privacy and reduce the awkwardness.
Previously, the messaging app rolled out the feature that lets you leave a group chat silently. This means you can duck out of the group chat without awkward goodbyes. While other users won’t receive the notification, the group admins will get a notification.
Finally, the a significant update to the recent View Once feature. This feature allows sending a photo or video that will disappear after the recipient opens it one moment. As we know, some users think they can take a screenshot when they see a View Once message from other people. Whatsapp claims this feature is almost done, but WhatsApp didn’t say when it will roll out to users.
Don’t worry if you haven’t kept track of all the new privacy features. WhatsApp is starting an educational campaign to teach people about their options and how to keep their correspondence private.
