Previously, Samsung launched the One UI 5.0 beta update to the Galaxy S22 series in the US. Today, this update comes in Germany and India. Unlike the major update, this One UI 5.0 beta 4 only has some minor changes, including bug fixes.
The new software update has firmware version ZVJ2 and a download size of 1,293.56MB. It also brings the October 2022 security update. If you’re a Galaxy S22 series device user in Germany and India, you can join the Beta program to enjoy this latest UI update or check it through Settings ยป Software update and tap Download and install.
This beta update can enable/disable the Favorites and Recents feature in the Gallery app. Previously, a bug made the system activate Do Not Disturb Mode automatically, and now it’s fixed. Some users reportedly have continuous beeping sounds and vibrations, and Samsung has fixed it.
Some bugs have also been fixed, including crashing for some opening apps and folders, S Pen Air Command UI, changing wallpaper, the object eraser hasn’t worked, the haptic feedback disappearing from the home screen, and the widget frame breaking on the home screen.
Samsung also has fixed the Samsung DeX issue that causes a black screen when the device is locked. Also, users’ “unable to open file” pop-up menu while using Quick Share to open the file received.
