Samsung Launches 55-inch Odyssey Ark Gaming

Posted on October 8, 2022

Samsung launched a new gaming monitor in India, the Odyssey Ark. The new 55-inch flagship gaming monitor costs INR 2,19,999 or $2,698, and the brand will give you an instant discount of INR 10,000 and a Samsung T7 2TB SSD worth INR 21,449 for free. The discount is effective from October 7th, 12 PM to October 9th, midnight.

The Odyssey Ark was introduced during the IFA 2022 event and was available to purchase in the US market last month. This gaming monitor has a 55-inch curved screen, a Mini-LED backlight, and QLED technology. The 14-bit VA QLED display produces a 4K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. The 1ms response time will make the competitive games have no delay anymore. There is some display technology, including an AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, HDR10+, 600 nits, a peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits in HDR, and a matte finish.

The Odyssey Ark has a Game Bar feature that allows users to enjoy both monitor and TV at the same time. The monitor has up to four video inputs simultaneously. Of course, many people like to enjoy a big screen for gaming use. The Samsung Gaming Hub will support you in enjoying cloud-based gaming platforms, including Amazon Luna, Microsoft Xbox Cloud, and Nvidia GeForce Now.

This gaming monitor has 60W 2.2.2 channel speakers and support for Dolby Atmos. The “Cockpit Mode” will allow you to watch in portrait mode. The Samsung Odyssey Ark uses Tizen OS, which means users can enjoy many streaming services, including Apple TV+, Prime Video, Netflix, and Disney+. It has the Alexa voice assistant, too.

Other features come in this gaming monitor, including Samsung Health, SmartThings, Wi-Fi 5, Miracast, Bluetooth 5.2, a USB Type-C port, Tap View, NFC, an Ethernet port, and four HDMI 2.1 ports (with Auto Source Switch+ and HDMI CEC). Users can adjust the monitor in some positions – pivot, swivel, and tilt the monitor.

Hurry Up!
