Samsung is the biggest tablet company and launches premium tablets every year. The company launched the Galaxy Tab S8 series lineup, including Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8+, and the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. Unfortunately, the company won’t release the next Galaxy Tab generation in early next year.
According to a report from TheElec, the company postponed the launching of the Galaxy Tab S9 series due to decrease in demand for IT products, including tablets, and a recent global economic downturn. Samsung is expected to develop the next tablet generation in December, but that has been delayed to early next year.
Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy Tab S9 series in the second half of 2023 alongside some flagship phones, including Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5. The Galaxy Tab S9 series will have three models: Tab S9, Tab S9+, and Tab S9 Ultra.
According to DSCC (Display Supply Chain Consultants), the demand for premium tablets could rise from 3% in 2021 to 4% in 2022.
