Samsung releases the October 2022 security patch to the Galaxy Tab S6; it’s the first firmware update for the first Galaxy tablet. The update comes to some Asian countries – Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand. Also, some countries as well – Australia and Germany.
The new firmware version T865XXU5DVJ1 comes in Asia and Australia. While the firmware version T865XXU5DVH2 comes in Germany. As mentioned earlier, the latest update brings October 2022 security patch, bugs fixed, and device stability improvement. If you’re living in the countries we’ve mentioned above, you might receive the update notification, or you can check the update manually through Settings » Software update and clicking on Download and install.
The Galaxy Tab S6 launched in 2019 with the Android 9 OS out of the box. The company offers three major Android OS upgrades to the tablet. Now, this tablet is running on Android 12 with One UI 4 customizations.
Although Samsung released the October 2022 security patch to many of its smartphones, Samsung hasn’t offered it yet to any tablet apart from the Galaxy Tab S6.
