Many consumers and media have focused on Samsung flagship products recently, but remember that the company is now launching a new mid-range smartphone, Galaxy A04e.
As we may remember, the company launched the Galaxy A04 lineup in August, and Galaxy A04s became official in September.
Samsung Galaxy A04e has a 6.5-inch HD+ PLS LCD touchscreen; there is two rear camera setup – a 13 MP and a 2 MP depth sensor next to it. While the phone uses a 5 MP selfie snapper, an unnamed SoC with an octa-core CPU (rumoured to be the MediaTek Helio G35), 3 or 4GB of RAM, 32/64/128GB of expandable storage, LTE support (no 5G here), 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only (no 5 GHz band so no Wi-Fi 5 or 6) and a 5,000 mAh battery.
This phone runs on Android 12 with One UI Core 4.1 on top. The Galaxy A04e measures 164.2 x 75.9 x 9.1 mm and weighs 188g. Samsung produced in three color options – black, light blue, and copper.
The A04e has a lower-res main camera compared with the A04. This phone has a lower refresh rate screen (60 Hz vs. 90 Hz) than its predecessor as well. We assume the company made the cheapest model at this time. Unfortunately, there’s no clear information about the pricing until this time.
