Samsung released the October 2022 security patch to the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3 in the US, and now the company is rolling out the latest update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Galaxy Z Flip 4 in the country.
The latest update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 has a firmware version of F936USQS1AVII. While the Galaxy Z Flip 4 has firmware version F721USQS1AVII. The latest update brings October 2022 security patch, fixes more than 47 vulnerabilities, and improves device stability.
The update includes unlocked variants, including T-Mobile, Comcast, and Xfinity Mobile networks. If you’re a Galaxy Z Fold 4 or Galaxy Z Flip 4 user and live in the US. You might receive the update notification, or you can update it manually through Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install.
While the stable version of the OS for the two smartphones is getting the October 2022 security patch, Samsung has announced the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 Beta program for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Galaxy Z Flip 4 in South Korea.
