Honor is expected to launch the new flagship on 23 at a special launch event in China from 2:30 PM local time (6:30 UTC). The company will launch the new Honor Magic 5, which is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset set to debut at next week’s annual Snapdragon Summit.
Some rumors said the Magic5 would have a 6.8-inch display with PWM dimming, 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, and a 50MP primary camera with AI ISP. This phone has an IP-68 certification, and it’s expected to run MagicOS based on Android 13 in the box. We will publish the latest news after the Honor product event, so we’ll keep you posted.
