Samsung is now launching the new firmware update for the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra unlocked models in the US. The good news is this update isn’t the highly anticipated Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update. The company released the November 2022 security patch for the US-unlocked Galaxy Note 20 series.
The latest update comes with firmware version N98xU1UES3FVJ1. The new features added to this latest update, even though Samsung has already released One UI 5.0 for the Galaxy Note 20 lineup in other markets.
The Galaxy Note 20 duo will receive Android 13 and One UI 5.0 in the near future. But you can never be too sure. Samsung claims to have brought 46 vulnerabilities, of which three have been marked as “critical” to the November 2022 security patch.
If you’re a Galaxy Note 20 user in the USA, you can download and install the November 2022 security patch by opening the setting menu, tapping “Software update,” and tapping “Download and install.”
