Garmin introduced a new smartwatch for kids today; it’s called Garmin Bounce. The watch will be available with built-in GPS and LTE connectivity; this helps parents to monitor their kids’ location. Parents can send text and voice messages to kids. Parents need to install the Garmin Jr. app and an active Garmin Connect account to set up the smartwatch. Purchasing the LTW version requires a subscription, which starts at $10/€11 per month.
Garmin Bounce has a 1.3″ LCD with 240 x 240px resolution, a silicone watch band, and a hard plastic cover. The smartwatch supports sports tracking, active minutes, steps, and sleep tracking. The device can be active for up to two days on a single charge with the default settings. The Garmin supports a 5 ATM water rating and can track swim sessions.
The Garmin Bounce is available in some colors, including black, green, and lilac colors. This will cost $150/€180, and you can purchase the product on the official Garmin online store.
