As you may have heard, Samsung will roll out the Android 13 update to all devices across the world before the end of 2022, it means the company might beat the One UI 5.0 release roadmaps. Today, Samsung Galaxy S21 series in Canada is receiving the latest Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update when the Canadian roadmap should be reached in December.
Samsung Galaxy Galaxy S21, the S21+, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra users in Canada will receive the update notification soon. The latest update comes with firmware version G99xWVLU5DVK3; this update comes to some Canadian carriers, like Virgin Mobile, EastLink, Bell Mobile, Fido Mobile, Globalive Wind Mobile, and SaskTel.
Samsung offers some improvements for the Galaxy S21 of its One UI 5.0 update. Users will get a new lock screen customization screen, improved background app management, and the redesigned Settings menu for the “Connected devices” section.
UI 5.0 update also offers a new redesign for Samsung DeX users with the new taskbar settings and a Finder icon embedded in the taskbar. The Settings app’s labs section helps you manage a multi-window while you work.
If you’re a Samsung Galaxy S21 user in Canada, you might receive the Android 13 and One UI 5.0 through the Settings app, accessing “Software update” and tapping “Download and install.”
