WhatsApp launched the new Message Yourself feature for iOS and Android users. This feature is a part of beta testing but is now available for everyone.
The message Yourself feature allows you to send a message to yourself. It’s a chat that only can be accessible and visible only to you, and you can post as you would in any other chat. This feature helps you to write important notes, save web links, or upload documents and voice notes.
This is not a new feature, especially for another platform, like Telegram; this feature has had it since its launch. WhatsApp started testing in October. Previously, the platform allowed users to create a group and then remove specific members to essentially make a private chat for themselves.
The feature was unavailable for testing at the time of writing but should be available over the coming weeks.
