Samsung is rolling out the latest Android 13 update to Samsung’s first tablet lineup now. The company released the update but was limited to international units. Today, the update comes to carrier-locked units in the US.
The Android 13 update comes with firmware version X808USQU2BVK4 on Xfinity Mobile’s network. The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra and the Galaxy Tab S8 will receive the latest update with firmware version ending BVK4. This latest update comes with a November 2022 security patch, bug fixed, and device stability improvements.
If you’re a Galaxy Tab S8+ user in the US with a carrier-locked unit (SM-X808U), youo might receive the update notification or you can download the update through Settings » Software update and tap Download and install.
As you may know, the Galaxy Tab S8 series launched with Android 12 onboard. All Galaxy Tab S8 series received with Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 update a few months ago. Today, those series has started receiving the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update. Samsung promises to release at least two more major Android OS updates.
