Samsung released the latest December 2022 security update yesterday; this first update aims at the Galaxy S20 series. Today, the South Korean firm started Galaxy Z Fold 4 update in the US market.
The latest software update has firmware version F936U1UEU1BVKB, and the size is 404MB. The update comes to unlocked-carrier AT&T’s network in the US. The company confirmed the update would roll out to more carriers in the following days. Samsung claims this update brings 93 security vulnerabilities found in Samsung’s Galaxy smartphones and tablets.
If you are a Galaxy Z Fold 4 and live in the US, you might receive the update notification, or you can check it manually through Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install.
As you may know, Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Fold 4 in August 2022 with Android 12-based One UI 4.1.1 in the box. This flagship received the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update a few weeks ago. Samsung promises to give three more Android OS updates to the smartphone.
