Samsung usually produces its S series as a flagship smartphone, and the Galaxy S20 Ultra may be the last device that uses a 40MP selfie camera. According to GalaxyClub, the smartphone will have a new lower-resolution sensor in the Galaxy S23 Ultra coming in February 2023.
The new leaks said the Galaxy S23 and S23+ would have upgraded selfie cameras. They said the new camera would have a 10MP selfie camera from a 12MP, while the S23 Ultra will pack the exact same 12MP sensor.
At first, there was no explanation why Samsung chose to downgrade the Ultra camera version, but the S23 and S23+ are getting upgraded. But the pixel count isn’t everything, we should wait for the camera quality details.
