According to some tipsters, Google is preparing for the Pixel Tablet launch in the near future. The leaks show some features of the Pixel Tablet, but the source said if this device won’t come with a modem, GPS, proximity sensors, and another advanced tech. Google seems to like to offer ultimate technology for the Pixel Tablet “Pro.”
A few months ago, Google was developing Pixel Tablet Pro to beat Samsung’s domination, i.e., the premium Android tablet segment. Samsung already has the top position with the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra and will launch the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra next year. So, we’re going to see if the Google Pixel Tablet Pro can compete with the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. Well, at least that’s what the rumors have to say.
Code hunter Kuba Wojciechowski posted a new code hinting that it will be used for Google Pixel Tablet Pro in the Google Camera Go app. The Google Pixel Tablet Pro is codenamed “TangorPro.” As you may know, Google used the codename “Tangor” for the Pixel Tablet, and the “Pro” suffix attached to the codename hints at the Pixel Tablet Pro.
There’s no clear information from Google about when the company will release the Pixel Tablet Pro alongside the normal Pixel Tablet next year or if it is working on it. The device will use the first-gen Tensor chipset. While the Pixel Tablet Pro will use the Tensor G2 SoC.
We will see the Pixel Tablet Pro spec details soon, wondering if it would give tough competition to the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, but it will surely open up new options for premium tablet buyers.
