Huawei FreeBuds 5i had launched in China in June. The device is now attempting to compete with other TWS brands in more markets. The product is currently going globally for just under £90/€100.
The Huawei FreeBuds 5i brings better battery life than its predecessor, the FreeBuds 4i. The device supports ANC, while the design has a lighter body but is still stylish.
The FreeBuds 5i only weighs 34 grams, which means each bud is just 4.6 grams. The FreeBuds has an 18% lighter body than before the model and improved with a 410 mAh battery.
The company claims the device can reduce up to 42dB worth of noise. The AI-powered system can isolate calls in a noisy environment much better than before.
The FreeBuds 5i can have 10-hour playback on a single charge, meaning we will need time to confirm the numbers in different scenarios with all three noise cancellation modes.
