Twitter is adding new features to the Twitter Blue subscription service currently. This feature has already been promised in the past. The Twitter Blue subscribers’ tweets will be prioritized in conversations, allowing them to upload videos that are up to an hour long.
The Twitter Blue subscribers’ will be able to upload videos up to 1080p in resolution and 2GB in file size. They can upload videos up to ten minutes long at 1080p resolution, with a file size limited to 512MB maximum. This feature is still limited to Twitter’s Android and iOS apps.
Twitter users will see “a slight preference for replies from Blue verified accounts over other replies.” In other words, the Blue subscription user will have the topmost replies on any conversation.
Twitter Blue will have more features in the future, and paid subscribers must pay $8 per month (or $11 if subscribing from iOS) for the service. At the same time, the company will prepare the blue verification badge, and we’ll have to wait and see how long that can still drive Twitter Blue subscription numbers up.
