Honor announced the Honor 80 GT alongside the Pad V8 Pro tablet with а beefy hardware under the hood. The company makes this pad product a top-of-the-line tablet, so it packs a decent punch.
The Honor Pad V8 Pro uses a 12.1-inch IPS LCD panel and a 2560 x 1600px resolution, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 10-bit color depth, and a 144Hz refresh rate. There’s an IMAX Enhanced certification to help users stream content with high quality. This feature is usually applied to TVs, but now the same feature also comes to the tablet world.
For the advanced multimedia experience, the company boosts the audio with eight powerful speakers supporting DTS:X surround sound. While the Dimensity 8100 SoC will be powered to this pad, and it will be paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB options.
The tablet uses a 13MP. f/2.0 rear camera and a 5MP, f/2.2 front-facing camera with fixed-focus. The company added a 10,050 mAh battery and supported 35W fast wired charging. The V8 Pro comes with Android 12 and Magic UI 7.0 out of the box.
The Honor Pad V8 Pro comes with a magnetic keyboard and active stylus pen to help users do many tasks. There are some color options, including Grey, Blue, and Orange, and the device has a faux leather texture. The Grey and Blue colors are finished with aluminum clad. The pad cost starts at CNY 2,599 ($375) for the 8GB/128GB option, while the 8GB/256GB and the 12GB/256GB iterations ask CNY 2,899 ($420) and CNY 3,299 ($475), respectively. The pre-order will be opened on December 30. Whether the tablet would make it outside of China is yet unknown.
