Samsung released the January security update to the Galaxy Note 10 series. Today, the Korean firm will release the first security update to the Galaxy S21 series for European markets.
The latest security patch for the Galaxy S21 lineup brings the firmware version G99xBXXS5DVL3. Meanwhile, the update comes in Switzerland with a January 2023 security patch. Samsung claims this update fixes security vulnerabilities and device stability improvements.
If you’re a Galaxy S21 series user in Europe, you might receive the update notification, or you can check the update manually through Settings ยป Software update and tapping Download and install.
Samsung Galaxy S21 series were launched in early 2021 with Android 11 onboard. The smartphones received the Android 12-based One UI 4 update in late 2021 also the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update in a few months ago. Samsung will give two more Android OS updates in the future.
