Nvidia launched the new GeForce RTX 4070 Ti as GeForce RTX 4080 refresh product with a 12GB memory size. This VGA card will cost from $899 to $799, and this product will start the debut on January 5.
The company plans to produce the specifications, naming, and pricing, but the card was “unlaunched” and shelved for a future release. Now, this product has been released with a different name and a slightly lower price.
Although the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is still the same RTX 4080 12GB, but the hardware core count is still less than the 4090 memory also half the memory bus width, for now, what is half the price. As we can see, nVidia did this strategy to a $400 RTX 4050, but users will only get the maximum performance for configuring and pricing lower models.
Nvidia claims the 4070 Ti is faster than the RTX 3090 Ti, the difference is only with DLSS3 enabled, which the 3090 Ti does not support. When the DLSS is disabled, the 4070 Ti delivers up to 80-100% of the 3090 Ti’s performance.
Fortun, the new 4070 Ti will have the Ada Lovelace advancements, including ray tracing performance, better efficiency, and AV1 encoding support.
The RTX 4070 Ti will be available from ASUS, Colorful, MSI, INNO3D, ZOTAC, GALAX, KFA2, Gainward, Palit, PNY, and GIGABYTE.
