VIVO launched the Y55s back in 2017, and now the company will launch the Y55s 5G, which is similar to the latter. This phone has been produced for the global market.
The main difference between both models is that the new Vivo Y55s model has a smaller 5,000 mAh battery than the 6,000 mAh. Unfortunately, this new model is still using 18W charging. The Vivo Y55s model measures 164 x 75.84 x 8.25mm and weighs 187 grams. The device comes in two colours, including galaxy blue or star black.
The Vivo Y55s will have a 6.58-inch and FullHD+ (2408 x 1080) LCD, while the MediaTek Dimensity 700 will be powered to its device performance. There are two RAM options – 4GB or 6GB with 128GB of non-expandable storage. The smartphone has some latest connectivity features, including SIM 5G support, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, FM radio, and a USB Type-C port with OTG support. Some sensor features come to this phone, like a side-mounted fingerprint reader, light, proximity, compass, gyroscope and gravity.
The main camera will have a 50MP, f/1.8 main camera and two additional 2MP, f/2.4 snappers on the back, one for portrait depth info and the other for macro shots. While the front camera uses an 8MP, f/1.8 selfie cam.
The new global Vivo Y55s 5G will cost around NTD 7,990 ($263) for the 4GB, plus 128GB variant and NTD 8,490 ($280) for the highest model, 6GB, plus 128GB one.
