Poco is expected to introduce the new phone at this company’s event; while we wait for it, the Geekbench revealing its chipset, RAM and Android version ahead of the official unveiling. The Poco X5 has been codenamed Xiaomi 22111317PG and managed 693 single-core points and 2,113 points on the multi-core test.
The smartphone is expected to use a Snapdragon 695 chipset and 8GB RAM. While Android 12 with MIUI 13 will run on this phone at launch. Unfortunately, there’s no more information about specs, price, and release date at this time.
According to the latest rumors, the Poco X5 will be a rebadged Redmi Note 12 with the older Snapdragon 695 chipset in place of the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1. We expect the Poco X5 Pro also has the vanilla X5 at launch. The company plans to rebrand the Pro model to the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed with the Snapdragon 778G SoC at the helm.
