Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra global versions received the latest January 2023 security update two weeks ago. Today, the Korean firm released the new security patch for the carrier-locked versions of the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy S20 series in the US.
The latest update for the carrier-locked versions of the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has firmware version N98xUSQS3GWA1. This update comes to Comcast’s network in the US, but the company will roll out the same update to more telecom carriers in a couple of days.
The January 2023 security patch fixes dozens of privacy and security vulnerabilities, including Secure Folder and Samsung Knox improvement. The update also offers reliability and stability of Galaxy Note 20 series performance.
If you’re a Galaxy Note 20 or Galaxy Note 20 Ultra carrier-locked user and live in the US, you might receive the update notification, or you can check the update manually through Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install.
