Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 global version received the Android 13 update two months ago. While the US-unlocked version received the same update last month. Today, Samsung rolled out the Android 13 update to the carrier-locked version of the smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 carrier-locked version receives the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update with firmware version F916USQU2IVK5 in the US. The update brings the November 2022 security patch as well. Unfortunately, the phone hasn’t received the updates for December 2022 and January 2023 yet.
The new update comes to Sprint and T-Mobile’s networks in the US, and the company will roll out the same update to more network carriers in the country and could release the update within the next few weeks.
If you’re a Galaxy Z Fold 2 carrier-locked version user in the US with the networks we’ve mentioned above, you might receive the update notification or you can check the update manually through Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install.
