Sony’s Xperia 1 V may announce at MWC in Barcelona at the end of this month. We need to wait the official details happen, some sources published a leaked image of this phone design as the upcoming flagship smartphone from Sony.
When we compare this model to the Xperia 1 IV, we’ll notice that the ToF camera and the RGB IR sensor are gone. This smartphone will have three big sensors, which bigger than the 1 IV, of which the lowest one houses a periscope camera. The LED flash has a new position, whereas it was outside the island, above it, in last year’s handset.
You will see the NFC logo to the right of the camera island; of course, through this design, we know it’s the global model. If it was made for the Japanese domestic market, there will be a Felica logo instead.
The Chinese leakster published on its Weibo page, the Xperia 1 V will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Sony is still having a heat problem at 1 IV, so we expect that the company will fix the problem of its successor.
We expect the Xperia 1 V will be introduced at MWC, which means just couple of weeks away from finding out all specification details, so stay tuned.
