Samsung released the January 2023 security patch last month for the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10+. However, the update comes to the global model of the three devices. Today, this Korean firm released the same update to the carrier-unlocked variants of the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10+.
The carrier-unlocked models of the Galaxy S10 series received the update with firmware version G97xU1UES8IWA1. Samsung claims the update fixes over fifty security issues in the devices. The update comes to some carriers, including AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon.
If your device is eligible to receive the update, you’ll be notified, or you can check it manually through Settings » Software update and then tap Download and install.
Samsung Galaxy S10 is expected to receive a security update in the future. Samsung has a strong commitment to security updates on its smartphones.
