Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series is now available to receive the February 2023 security patch. Previously, the global version has received the update and now the same update comes to unlocked Note 20 models in the USA.
It’s pretty surprising seeing the US-bound carrier unlocked getting the same update as the global version in Europe. Today, the update comes to Galaxy Note 20 (SM-N981U1) and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra (SM-N986U1).
The update comes with firmware version N89xU1UES3GWA3, and you should know this update doesn’t include any extra One UI features. The latest update also brings the security level of the last S Pen improvements for flagship phones.
Unfortunately, the February 2023 security patch doesn’t release the changelog, but we should see the full changelog in the coming days.
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 users in the USA might receive the update notification, or you can check manually through the Settings app on their phones after accessing “Software update” and tapping “Download and install.”
