Samsung launched the One UI 5.1 alongside the Galaxy S23 launch. The new update brings some interesting features. The Korean firm has started to deliver the pre-ordered Galaxy S23 units to global consumers, Samsung plans to release the One UI 5.1 to more Galaxy phones, and we assume this happen this month.
According to Canadian mobile network carrier Fido, Samsung will release the One UI 5.1 update to Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Ultra, Galaxy S22+, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Galaxy Z Flip 4 on February 22. Samsung promises to release the update in other markets shortly. Samsung hasn’t announced if the update will come to all phones.
The latest One UI 5.1 update offers two selfie colour profiles options, Expert RAW on compatible devices, the ability to share the gallery through Shared Family Album, GIF remastering, and save screenshots on a specific folder.
The latest One UI will bring the battery widget with two layouts, wallpaper, Modes & Routines configurations, weather widgets, live collaboration in Samsung Notes, media output option for Wi-Fi-enabled speakers, and Multi Control feature between Galaxy Book and Galaxy phones. Samsung also improves the Samsung DeX and Bixby Text Call.
The update allows the user to create an object from an image into a sticker by simply pressing it. The improved search also comes to this update, allowing you to group filters and allowing you to click a person’s face to view more photos containing them.
