Samsung released a new software update for the Galaxy A72 recently. While other flagship has been getting the One UI 5.1 update since yesterday, Galaxy A72 users hope they will get the same UI update soon. Unfortunately, the latest update doesn’t bring a new version of One UI. Instead, it’s just a security update.
The latest Samsung Galaxy A72 software update comes with A725FXXS5CWB2. Samsung brings the February 2023 security patch that fixes over four dozen security vulnerabilities. The update will roll out to more markets in the upcoming days. The company promises to release the One UI 5.1 to more smartphones in the next couple of months.

Samsung Galaxy A72 was released in 2021, and this device will receive up to three major Android OS updates. The smartphone comes with Android 11 at launch, and it’s already received the Android 13 update. The smartphone will receive more Android OS updates sometime later this year.
