Xiaomi announced the 13 and 13 Pro in China in December. Of course, the Ultra model is missing. According to the company’s CEO, Xiaomi won’t release a 13S Ultra this year, but he mentioned nothing about the 13 Ultra.
The Xiaomi 12S Ultra was launched in July of 2022, so the successor still has plenty of time to arrive. According to some images leaked, the upcoming Xiaomi 13 Ultra case has been outed, and there’s a humongous circular camera island.
We can see the 12S Ultra was not small by any stretch of the imagination either. Now, the upcoming device will have a purported sketch and an alleged live hands-on image, both of which were unveiled last week in China.
The arrangement of sensors is similar, but it’s not 100%, either. There’s an oval-shaped cutout at the top of the island. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is expected to be launched in March or April in China. The company focuses on photography, especially for the Ultra lineup. As we can see, the 13 Ultra uses a 1-inch main sensor but will add gimbal stabilization. All four cameras use autofocus, and the camera has a dToF (direct Time-of-Flight) sensor too.
