Samsung has been producing tablets for over a decade, but the Galaxy tablets have no water- or dust-proofing. SamMobile says this Korean firm plans to add the Galaxy Tab S9 series with an IP67 Certification.
The company added coating to its tablet to repel water and dust particles, but today Samsung got the official IP67 rating for the upcoming Tab S9. There’s no clear information about the reason for taking so long with the official certification had more to do with insurance and warranty matters.
The device helps users to protect the tablet when users want to use it as a bathroom multimedia or kitchen assistance. The Tab S9 tablets will arrive in the second half of 2023. Samsung usually launches alongside the Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Flip foldable in August.
