Samsung rolled out the One UI 5.1 update to the Galaxy S21 series two weeks ago. However, the update is only available for some European countries. Today, the company released the update in the US for the Galaxy S21 series.
The One UI 5.1 update comes carrier-locked f the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra with firmware version G99xUSQU5EWAI. The update brings the February 2023 security patch, and Samsung claims the latest update fixes over four dozen security shortcomings. The update rolls out to Xfinity Mobile’s network in the US. Samsung will release the same update to more carriers within the next few days. Unfortunately, the unlocked versions haven’t received the update yet.
If you’re a Galaxy S21 user in the US with a carrier-locked version, you might receive the update notification, or you can check the update manually through Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install.
