Nothing is expected to launch the upcoming Phone (2) during the MWC event in Barcelona. We hope the company will announce more details about this upcoming phone over the next few weeks or months. According to CEO Carl Pei, this smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 series.
Unfortunately, the company hasn’t announced clear information about the chipset details. We assume that this phone will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, as it does a lot of flagship Android devices that are coming out this year.
The Nothing Phone (2) will be available in the US at the first launch, according to Carl Pei. This device will arrive around the third quarter of the year, which means between July and September.
We predict the Phone (2) would be higher-end than its predecessor. Just how much higher-end remains to be seen, however. Does the company hope this phone will be the ‘flagship killer’ competing with the OnePlus 11s of the world instead?
Let’s wait and see. Previously, the rumour said the Nothing Phone (2) would use a 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, a 120 Hz OLED display, and a 5,000 mAh battery. In addition, the device may use Glyph LEDs.
