If you’re a Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+ user, you will get the update notification, or you can check the update manually through the Settings app on the tablet, accessing “Software update” and tapping “Download and install.”
Samsung claims the One UI 5.0 update brings some improved existing features, including drag-and-drop across the laptop and tablet, interactive UI tweaks, and better multi-window capabilities for Samsung DeX.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 with One UI 5.1 offers better external speakers performance, a Shared Family Album in the Gallery app, new Dynamic Weather widgets, and many more. Some Samsung apps also get the improvements, including Samsung Internet, Weather, Settings, Gallery, AR Emoji Camera, and others.
Samsung will continue the One UI 5.1 to more devices and Galaxy tablets, including all the FE series. Samsung promises to give Fan Edition devices with latest February security patch as well. It might be a delay, but we hope the update will catch up soon.
