ASUS is expected to launch a new ROG Phone 7 in the near future. The rumor said this gaming smartphone would be released on April 13. The device was spotted on the National Communications Commission of Taiwan’s website.
Both models seem similar to the ASUS ROG 6 series; there’s a small display on the back, likely the Pro, and another without it.
The smartphone has a 3,000 mAh battery, and there are two cells batteries with faster charging, so the battery total should be 6,000 mAh. The adaptor also unveiled the 65W rates (20V at 3.25A). The smartphone has a protective case that highlights the design on the back, and the bundling offers an Aero Active Cooler, too.
The ROG Phone 7 and Phone 7 Pro will be powered by a new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and come with Android 13 out of the box. The display will have a 6.78” AMOLED and supports a 165Hz refresh rate.
The cameras have not a significant improvement, but it doesn’t matter for this gaming smartphone; the company improves cooling and performance upgrades Asus is bringing to these new phones.
