Xiaomi is dead set on giving yet another Redmi Note lineup that needs a day of research to even make sense of. The company is adding a new phone named Redmi Note 12 Pro, only it is limited to 4G speeds and commonly has little to do with any of the current Redmi Note 12 Pros.
The new Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G launched in Indonesia with a Snapdragon 732G chipset, 108MP primary camera, and a camera island reminiscent of the Redmi Note 11 lineup.
The Qualcomm chipset operates at LTE connectivity and is almost three years old at this point, but it is still capable with two big CPU cores running at 2.3 GHz. It was the same feature came in the Redmi Note 10 Pro, back in March 2021.
The 5,000 mAh battery with 67W is also a typical feature of the Redmi Note lineup, spanning across three generations. The same uses to the 120Hz screen with a single punch hole in the center that is likely a 6.67” AMOLED panel. Additional specs include 4K video recording, stereo speakers, a 3.5mm audio jack, and support for Dolby Vision Atmos.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G will be launched in May in Indonesia. We will be looking for whether this exact smartphone becomes official in other markets or countries.
